By using our web application, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before listing your services or making bookings on our platform.
a. Introduction
Cedar Grove Ltd (“Cedar Grove”) provides an online marketplace for Vendors to list tourism-related services, including but not limited to vehicle rentals, boat charters, short-let accommodations, experience listings, and guided tours. Customers can use the platform to browse and book these services. Cedar Grove facilitates connections between Vendors and Customers but does not own or manage the listed services.
b. User Eligibility
To use Cedar Grove, you must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to enter into binding agreements. Vendors must provide accurate and up-to-date information about their services and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
c. Vendor Obligations
Vendors must:
- Ensure that their listings contain accurate descriptions, pricing, and availability.
- Adhere to all applicable local laws, including vehicle safety, maritime regulations, rental agreements, and tourism guidelines.
- Handle bookings, customer inquiries, and service fulfillment independently.
- Maintain high service standards and resolve customer disputes in a professional manner.
d. Subscription Fees
Vendors are required to pay a subscription fee as specified on the Cedar Grove platform. The first month is free for new Vendors. Subsequent payments must be made in advance to maintain an active listing. Fees are non-refundable, except in cases determined by Cedar Grove at its discretion.
e. Booking and Payments
Customers book services directly from Vendors. Cedar Grove is not responsible for payment processing between Vendors and Customers. Vendors must ensure they accept payments through legally recognized methods in Kenya (e.g., M-Pesa, bank transfers, credit cards).
f. Termination and Suspension
- Vendors may terminate their listings by not renewing their subscription.
- Cedar Grove reserves the right to remove listings that violate platform policies, contain false information, or breach applicable laws. No refunds will be issued for removed listings.
- Cedar Grove may suspend or terminate access to the platform for users engaging in fraudulent or harmful activities.
g. Limitation of Liability
Cedar Grove is a listing and booking platform only. We are not responsible for service fulfillment, accidents, damages, disputes, or financial losses arising from listed services. Vendors assume full responsibility for their operations and agree to indemnify Cedar Grove against any claims.
h. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
i. Amendments
Cedar Grove reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
